Torture Free Teaching Environment (TFTe) Framework for K-10 Schools

Image
Torture Free Teaching Environment (TFT e )  Once, I made a statement in a Teacher's Workshop I attended in Kathmandu, "Nepalese Schools are more torturous than the police stations and jails in developed Countries". Then it followed a massive discussion, going deeper and deeper. The discussion was so hot and there was very serious debate but as the conclusion, it was realized that there is truth in the statement and we needed change. Mostly, youngsters were advocating the need for change but the few senior educators had their reservations. The most devastating moment is when you realize the dire need for change but you don't know how. As an educator, I always wanted to work for the emancipation of students from the meaningless series of Corporal Punishments, rooted as Guru-Shishya culture. My search and study for the solution could not find any tailored concrete measures on hand that could be workable for Nepalese schools. TFT e Implementation Framework for K-10 Sch...

Defeating Diabetes - An Educator's Diabetes Reversal Journey

Image
It was a major unprepared shock for me when I was first diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes at the very advent of my forties. The onset was just devastating:  My journey in a snapshot: 🚫 Diagnosed: Aug 16, 2016: ⛔ HbA1C: 11.6% ❌ FBS: 214 ❌ PP: 305 After consulting one of the most popular Endocrinologists in the nation, stubbornly, I chose to make every possible effort to manage it without medication but in about 3 months, the results were just more and more frustrating. Fortunately, my luck had some better plans for me and I came to know about American #Glucosezone Exercise methodologies. I combined the Science with my Traditional Buddhist Meditation Techniques, particularly Vipassana in motion, and achieved the miraculous results of getting my blood sugar normal in just 3 days that has remained completely normal thereafter.  ↪️ Treatment: American #Glucosezone Exercise in combination with Buddhist Meditation (Dynamic Vipassana) The success I: Jan. 9, 2017:   ✔ HBA1C: 5.6% ...

#MI_PBL - Training Information 2023

Image
A Two Day #MI_PBL Facilitators' Training 2023 Idea of Need for Change: In a typical teaching-learning setup, when asked "Why are you doing these activities or assignments?", if your students answer: "Because the teacher told us to." "Because we're doing a project about ______ (neighborhoods; the American Revolution; patterns; seasons; whatever)." "If we don't do, our teacher will punish us." "I don't know." Then, there is a serious problem in the way, you lead the learning of students.   Solution: A Multiple Intelligence Based Project Based Learning #MI_PBL with a Driving Question that clearly states the purpose of the project, gives a focus to all the tasks students do, leads students to an inquiry process, and the the answer is at the heart of the project's culminating products and performances. WHY: Because, almost all the programs, training, projects, methodologies, technologies, etc. whi...
