About Mr. Lama
Singa Lama is an Educator, Trainer, Counselor and Writer of national repute and international networks. He is the Principal and Co-Founder at Golden Gate English Secondary School (www.ggess.edu.np), located in Bhaktapur, Nepal. Under his stewardship, Golden Gate has become the 1st School in Bhaktapur to develop Torture-Free Teaching Environment (TFTe) starting Guidance and Counseling Unit and the nation's foremost school to conceptualize and implement Multiple Intelligences based Project Based Learning, popularly known as #MI_PBL.
He is also involved as Adjunct Faculty for MBA and EMBA at Kantipur Valley College (KVC) www.kvc.com.np, where he teaches Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Human Resources Management. He also works as Adjunct Faculty at Himalayan College of Agriculture Science & Technology (HICAST) www.hicast.edu.np for MSc Agriculture (Agribusiness Management) teaching Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management.
He is the Propounder of Multiple Intelligences based Project Based Learning #MI_PBL, a Progressive Education Approach developed with Synergistic Amalgamation of Multiple Intelligences Theory and Project Based Learning (PBL). The #MI_PBL largely follows Dr. Howard Gardner's Harvard University Project Zero – Project Spectrum Modality of Multiple Intelligences, mingled with John Dewey's Progressive Education, Jean Piaget's Constructivism and standardized PBL System developed by Buck Institute for Education (BIE), USA. He conducts Training on #MI_PBL for schools throughout the nation.
Currently, he serves as the Secretary-General for QUEST-Nepal (www.quest-nepal.org.np) which has been running Students' Quality Circles (SQC) in Nepalese Academia since 1999 AD. Conceptualized and customized by Prof. Dinesh P. Chapagain, SQC is a program focused on the Personality Development of Students to prepare Total Quality Person (TQP) with Good and Smart characters using a customized version of QC Tools, now called SQC Tools, from Japanese TQM Philosophy.
He is the person with the rare victorious experience of Diabetes Reversal in Nepal. Combining the Clinical Trial proven Scientific Glucosezone Methodologies invented by Mr. Charles O'Connell with Traditional Buddhist Meditation Techniques, he got the victory within a few days and proudly continues living his reversed life inspiring thousands of others. He has started Diabetes Reversal Community and frequently trains people with Diabetes for their reversal journey upon request.
He is also an Author of SQC Course Books and Writer/Columnist for many media houses including Kantipur, Onlinekhabar.Com, EducationKhabar, eShikshalaya, Shilapatra.Com, Nuwagi.Com, PrarambhaKhabar.Com and many more. Currently, he is writing a book based on his experiences of Diabetes Reversal.
He also serves as Facilitator at Bikalpa Gyan Tatha Bikas Kendra and Chief Trainer and Treasurer at SCHeME-Nepal that works in the field of Health, Management and Education.
